You Are Worthy.

Hey y'all!! Can I just start off by giving God all of the praise today!? Because no matter the circumstance, HE IS GOOD! Just the fact that you can actually read this right now is a blessing y'all. And thank you so much for reading! I pray over each and every one of you reading this right now that God may bless you and open your heart to show you His will for you today.

Ok, sooooo let's get right in....

So today I have something super dupa important to share with you guys. I was scrolling through Instagram this past week and saw this post that really caught my eye, and it said this: God doesn't call the qualified, but qualifies the called. Wow. Can we just take a minute to let that sink in? How beautiful is to know that we have a God who doesn't choose us based on anything that we've done, but simply BECAUSE HE LOVES US. BECAUSE WE ARE HIS. Wow. Just wow.

When I read this, it made me think of the story of Gideon, a man who led the Israelites for God, but had some difficulties along the way (This story is found in Judges 6, super good!) So here we have Gideon, who God is calling to save Israel out of Midian's hand. The angel of the Lord came to Gideon and told him "The Lord is with you, mighty warrior." (Judges 6:12) Now you would think this would give Gideon confidence right? Nope. Gideon did what many of us would do; he doubted himself. How can I do this God? Why me? I'm too weak for that Lord. But did God let Gideon give up that easily? No he did not. He encouraged him, that's what he did! (Man I LOVE God) "The Lord answered, "I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive." (Judges 6:16)''

So many times we can both feel and act like Gideon. We're all guilty of it. Of second-guessing ourselves, feeling weak and not prepared. But the truth is that God's warriors are never perfect. Take a look at David, a young inexperienced shepherd boy, at Moses, an elder man with a speech impediment, at Abraham and Sarah, two people long over the age to have children. But one thing in common with all of these Bible heroes, is their strong desire to please God. You don't have to be perfect to serve God, just be willing to listen to His voice.

I know I say this all the time, but I don't think that I can stress it enough-Jesus LOVES you. He WANTS you. You are already precious in His eyes, so don't think that you can't do it. Pray to God, and pray that He will give you strength and guidance to follow His will for your life and help make your dreams a reality. For our, God is a great and mighty God, and trust me, He can do great and mighty things in your life. Know that's something to praise about!!:)

P.S. To close can I just say that the song by Confidence by Sanctius totally goes with this? Listen to it y'all, you won't regret it:)
