Spring Outfit Ideas: Floral Print!

Hey guys!! Welcome back to the blog! I don't know about y'all...but I am so so so glad that spring is here!!! I'm a girl from the Caribbean...so I love my warm, tropical weather! Another thing awesome thing about spring is all the beautiful flowers that bloom around this time!! 💮💮💮💮(Total girly girl, I know) One type of flower that blooms a lot in my city are Azaleas! There's even an Azalea Festival complete with a parade, street fair, and celebrity meet-and-greets here to kick-off the start of Spring! I was blessed with an amazing opportunity to win a writing contest for the Festival and get to represent it this year! It brought so many great opportunities, and I might just make another blog post about it...

During the Azalea Festival events, I liked to combine floral patterns to show my festival and spring spirit! So it got me thinking about how cool it would be to do a blog post on Floral Fashion! So here it is: SPRINGin into Floral Outfits! (See what I did there🤣) Well, let's get started!
#1-Floral shirts! There are so many cute floral shirts around this time of the year, and you just have to know how to incorporate them into your outfits! For this outfit, I took this really cute, black off-the shoulder-shirt with a bit of floral detailing, and paired it with white jeans and black sandals! Really casual yet still stunning!

#2-Accessories! One of my friends got the chance to go to Saint Thomas and brought me back this beautiful little handmade tropical flower necklace. I love it so much! And that's just one of the many ways to wear floral print with your accessories! You could also add headbands, bows, or bracelets!

#3-This next outfit was actually one that I wore to an Azalea Festival event...to the governors press conference! So clearly it was a little more sophisticated, but you can change it around to make it a more day-to-day look. I just paired this lovely floral dress with black heels and earrings. Simple as that!

#4-Floral shorts! Flowy shorts are perfect in the spring-especially if you live where it gets really hot around now! You can find flowy floral shorts like this and pair it with a light sweater and converse for a really laid back look! Brandy Melville and Aero have some really nice ones!

And those are just a few ideas! Overall, I think its important to just be yourself and dress you! Don't necessarily go with the trends...start them! As long as you're comfortable and confident with what you're wearing...then rock it girl!! :)
