Hey guys! Welcome to Dulce Vida, and thanks for stopping by! This post is very special, because its our first official post!!! Ahhhhh (Insert squees and jumping up and down here) And today we're going to be talking about something that we all experience: boredom.
Ugh. There's nothing worse than sitting and counting the seconds, minutes, hours, as they pass on by, not having a CLUE of what to do! We've all been there, and I'm guessing that if your reading this, then you're looking for a way to escape that boredom! And we've got you covered!
Ugh. There's nothing worse than sitting and counting the seconds, minutes, hours, as they pass on by, not having a CLUE of what to do! We've all been there, and I'm guessing that if your reading this, then you're looking for a way to escape that boredom! And we've got you covered!
So here we go!
- Go outside!-I love, love, love being outside! There's nothing like feeling the fresh air and sunlight streaming on your face, plus its an excellent way to be healthy! You could play volleyball at the beach, shoot hoops at your friends house, or even hit the local park! It doesn't have to be fancy-you could walk your dog! But a few rays outside always makes for a great time! Personally, I love to spend time playing soccer with my brother outside-we get pretty competitive, but always have fun! :)
- Create something!-Okay, so maybe arts and crafts isn't your thing, but you don't have to be the next Picasso to create! I love making little gifts for my friends and its nice way to put my hands to work while putting a smile on someone's face!
- Dance!-Dance parties are always fun, no matter your age! So don't be afraid to put on your dance shoes and jam out!
- Call a friend!-Or better yet, a family member! It's always nice to get to talk to those you love, and just catch up!
- Read!-Ok ok, so I know that reading isn't everyone's thing, but it can be a great way to relax! And its a great way to improve focus and concentration...think about that next time that you pick up a book!
- Exercise!-So I know that sitting on the sofa and binge watching netflix sounds good, but it definetly won't do your body any good! Instead try to exercise, you could go on a jog with friends/family, and just move! Its a great way to beat the boredom while being healthy!
- Learn new hairstyles-Take this time to try new things, maybe even experience a new look! I love to check out Pinterest hairstyles...they don't all necessary all work, but I sure learn some things in the process!🤣
- Finally, last but not least, read the Bible! Its amazing what reading God's word can do! It just fills you up and allows you to grow as a person and gives you so much wisdom and happiness. Even if you're not Christian, I encourage you to at least try reading a few verses of the bible, and experience what the power of God can do!
